Annabel Morrice
Hi, I’m Annabel Morrice, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Reem Glasco, LPC-S. I work with adult individuals navigating complex trauma, known or suspected neurodivergence (including ADHD, Autism, and sensory processing sensitivity), and LGBTQ+ experiences. The people I work with have often adapted in clever, creative ways to survive environments that failed them in early life. These adaptations, once necessary, can now stand in the way of deeper connection, self-understanding, and a life that feels more alive and aligned.

In our work together, I offer a space where you can exhale—or inhale—whichever you need, maybe both. It’s a space where your story is honored, where you can soften, and where you're gently supported in exploring the patterns, beliefs, and pain that may be keeping you stuck. I invite you not only to share your thoughts and feelings, but also to notice any sensations or imagery that arise as we work. This helps us approach your experience with curiosity rather than judgment, and begin to build awareness of what's happening beneath the surface.

That awareness opens space to imagine new possibilities, to recognize that you're no longer in the environment you once had to adapt to, and to reconnect with what feels true for you now, as an adult.

My approach is relational, gentle, and grounded in deep respect for your unique way of being in the world. I'm currently in advanced training in NARM (the NeuroAffective Relational Model), a modality designed to support healing from complex trauma by addressing the disconnection from self that often results from early relational wounds.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about nurturing your capacity to feel more choice, more connection, and more of what brings you fully alive.

A little bit about me
I was born and raised in Austin, TX, a city that, like me, has evolved over time. Growing up, I was always focused on performing at a certain level to achieve academic success. I earned a business degree from the The University of Texas at Austin and went on to get my Master's in Public accounting through the MPA program, started a career in public accounting, and passed the CPA exam. Yet, I soon realized that the day to day life of an accountant didn’t align with who I truly am, leaving me with more questions than answers. Therapy provided the space I needed to explore these questions and reconnect with the parts of myself I had neglected and numbed in pursuit of external success. Embracing both courage and fear, I returned to school and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saybrook University. This personal transformation through therapy continues to be life-changing.
I deeply value learning from all aspects of life. I have a special appreciation for the lessons that animals and nature teach us without ever uttering a word out loud. I enjoy using imagery and metaphors and bring a nurturing, playful, and creative energy to therapy.
